Technological Doctor

One day, a man complained to his friend, "My elbow really hurts, guess I should see a doctor.

"His friend said, "Don't do that. There's a computer at the drug store that can diagnose anything quicker and cheaper than a doctor. Simply put in a sample of your urine, and the computer will diagnose your problem and tell you what you can do about it. And it only costs $10.00.

"The guy figured he had nothing to lose, so he filled a jar with a urine sample and went to the drug store. Finding the computer, he poured in the sample and deposited the $10.00. The computer started making some noise andvarious lights started flashing. After a brief pause, out popped a small slip of paper which read:You have tennis elbow.Soak your arm in warm water, avoid heavy labor. It will be better in two weeks.

That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was and how it would change medical science forever, he began to wonder if this computer could be fooled.

He decided to give it a try. He mixed together some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, and urine samples from his wife and daughter. To top it off, he masturbated into the concoction. He went back to the drug store, located the computer, poured in thisample and deposited the $10.00. The machine again made the usual noises, flashedlights, and printed out the following analysis:
Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener.
Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo.Y
our daughter is using cocaine. Put her in a rehabilitation clinic.
Your wife is pregnant....twin girls. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer.

And.... if you don't stop jerking off, your elbow will never get better!

Friendship Poem

A FRIEND LIKE YOU by: Natasha

Everyone should havea friend like you
You are so much fun to be with
And you are such a good person
You crack me up with laughter
And touch my heart with your kindness
You have a wonderful ability
To know when to offer advice
And when to sit in quiet support
Time after time
You've come to my rescue
And brightend so many
Of my routine days
And time after time
I've realized how fortunate
I am that my life includes you
I really do believe that
Everybody should have a friend like you
But so far it looks like
You are one of a kind!

New Movie

‘Death at a Funeral’ Star Chris Rock on Death, Comedy and Keeping It Real

Renowned for his stand-up, Chris Rock has had a mixed track record on the silver screen, making healthy hits, a few bombs and some interesting, unexpected choices. As the producer and star of "Death at a Funeral," the new remake of the 2007 Frank Oz comedy, he's clearly hoping to have a hit. He's even more clear about how, when the time came, he had to step aside to let director Neil LaBute take the reins. "Once you hire a director you trust, you take off your producer hat," Rock said. "I always say if you want to be a good producer, the secret to being a good producer is to hire your boss. So when I hired Neil, I hired my boss. And it made my job a lot easier."

And for all the door-slamming comedic action, blackmail and hallucinating guests of "Death at a Funeral," it is, ultimately, about death, a down-but-real note Rock knew he had to respect. "It's about the passing of a father," he said. "And you have to believe it. You know what I mean? You have to believe that this is a family. You have to believe that this guy died. You have to believe the relationship with me and my wife [Regina Hall] -- you have to believe these things. And if you believe these things, everything will be so much funnier."

And Rock finally notes how paying a husband, a son, a brother is different (and, to him, better) than a situation-driven plot in which he's running for office or shooting at someone. "I hope to do more movies like this, that are more character-driven; I think the audience laughs harder, to tell you the truth, when it's not like these big set pieces that obviously wouldn't be there otherwise, the kind of things that only happen in movies," he says. "I know in my stand-up, it works because it's like life. And I think if I continue to make movies that are like life, I'll have a decent movie career.

Ricky Martin: I am a Fortunate Homosexual

Entertainment Tonight, March 29, 2010

News, Ricky Martin
In a candid blog posted on his Web site, singer Ricky Martin comes out, revealing that he is gay.

Ricky spoke about his fears, writing: "Many people told me: 'Ricky it's not important,’ 'it's not worth it,’ 'all the years you've worked and everything you've built will collapse,’ 'many people in the world are not ready to accept your truth, your reality, your nature.' Because all this advice came from people who I love dearly, I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth. Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage. Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions."

The "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer continues, "These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed."
